Yucca Rostrata is meanwhile relatively widespread in the Pannonian region. It fits perfectly into any dry or stone garden and decorates any desert garden. Another big advantage of this attractive, stem-forming yucca is its frost hardiness. Its around -18 to -20 °C. It can therefore be described as completely hardy in the milder areas of Austria. But here too, caution is advised: damp and wet weather can significantly reduce their frost tolerance, especially in the first winter after planting.
