Brahea Armata is a very popular ornamental plant due to its silver-blue leaf color. Aloud literature, its frost hardness is around -8 ot -10 °C. A Brahea Armata was planted out 2010 at the site of Pannonia Palmen KG. During the first few winters it was protected very well. In winter 2012-2013 in the middle of the palm -12 °C was measured during very short time. The palm hadn't any harm from the winters until now and is meanwhile a very strong plant. Here pictures can be seen from 2010 until 2025.
