Phoenix Canariensis, is the most popular and most well-known Phoenix - species in Central Europe. It is relatively inexpensive due to its good availability and rapid growth. This very wind-tolerant plant is often kept in pots in Central Europe. At around -6 to -9 °C, their frost resistance is rather low compared to most of the exotic plants described here.
